We all have accidents from time to time.
And as we get older, the thought of having an accident or
injury worries us even more. Fortunately, some accidents are
less serious than others, although they may also put a strain
on our finances, as recuperation can take longer as we get
older. Fractures, burns and broken bones can take a long time
to heal which means other costs increase too - transport to
the hospital, time off work, physiotherapy or keeping your
house warm for long periods.
The Over 50s Accident Plan is a straightforward
policy and from just £55 per year offers a choice of
two levels of care and provides up to £30,000 to help
deal with the consequences of an accidental injury.
You will also be covered for any personal
effects that you may have damaged during your accident in
the hope that this will ease your worries and aid your recuperation
during your period of rest.
If your injury is covered by the Plan and
you need to spend time in hospital, then an amount of up to
£100 per day for up to 30 days will be paid for the
time that you are there. You will also be covered for internal
injuries and under the Super cover Plan, you will also be
provided with £10,000 for accidental death which provides
you with further peace of mind in caring for your loved ones.
The Over 50s Accident Plan is available
to UK residents aged between 50 and 85 years of age, with
no medical or health assessment when you apply.
The Plan and the application process has
been kept as straightforward as possible and we are sure that
you will agree. There are no medicals that need to be carried
out prior to cover, no increase of premiums as you get older.
As soon as your Plan has been set up, you are immediately
covered and if you decide to renew each year, then your premiums
won't rise as you get older and neither will your benefits
decrease.
